News Release - Police Report

PURCELLVILLE, Va. September 6, 2018

 

08/30/2018 – 8:57 p.m.                       600 Blk. E. Dominion Terr.    Drunk in Public

Police were dispatched for a report of an intoxicated person in the common area.  Robert J. Frankel Jr., 37 year old male from Purcellville was arrested for being intoxicated in public.  He was transported to the Loudoun County Jail and held until sober.

 

8/31/2018 – 10:54 a.m.                       100 Blk. E. Cornwell Ln.        Larceny

Victim reported that items were missing from her purse.  Case is under investigation.

 

08/31/2018 – 5:13 9.m.                       200 Blk. Frazer Dr.                Fraud

Victim received a received a request on social media for money.  Victim did not send money and notified police. 

 

08/31/2018 – 7:11 p.m.                       300 Blk. Constitution Way     Peddler

Police were notified of a peddler going door to door.  Officers determined that the person did not have a valid peddler’s license.  Subject was advised of law.


08/31/2018 – 11:23 p.m.         Multiple Locations                  Vandalism

Police were notified of eggs thrown at houses and vehicles at multiple locations throughout town.


09/01/2018 – 7:53 p.m.                       W. J St. / S. Nursery Ave.      DUI

 Police were contacted about a possible intoxicated driver.  Officers located the vehicle and determined that the driver was intoxicated.  James Ian Hill, 36 year old male from Purcellville was arrested for driving while intoxicated.  He was transported to the Loudoun County Jail and held until sober.


09/02/2018 – 2:10 p.m.                       500 Blk. E. Main St.               Larceny

Police were contacted about a possible larceny.  After investigating it was determined that no larceny had occurred and it was a miscommunication.


09/05/2018 – 7:46 a.m.                       600 Blk. Wintergreen Dr.      Larceny

Police were notified that two recycle bins were taken from in front of the residence.
