PURCELLVILLE, Va. March 23, 2023 —Beginning Thursday, March 23, 2023, Segra will be relocating a portion of their underground facilities along the east side of S. Maple Avenue from approximately E. Main Street to E. Stephens Drive. This relocation work is required in order to accommodate the Town’s planned roadway and drainage improvements project along S. Maple Avenue that is scheduled to start construction later this year.
Work will generally occur Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and should be completed by Wednesday, March 29th. Minimal impact to traffic is expected as the work will mostly take place adjacent to the shoulder of the roadway. In case of inclement weather or unforeseen events, this schedule may change.
Please be aware of work zones and be alert for changes in the vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns in areas where work is being performed.
