PLAN FOR ROAD CLOSURES ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2022 
 FOR CHRISTMAS IN PURCELLVILLE PARADE 

Purcellville, VA, December 2, 2022— The annual Christmas in Purcellville Parade will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, beginning at noon. To help residents and visitors prepare, the parade route and associated road closure information is provided below. 

Posted No Parking restrictions will be in effect along the entire parade route beginning Friday, December 9 at noon through Saturday, December 10 at 3 pm.  
 For safety reasons, cars remaining parked along the parade route will be towed.

Parade Route

The Christmas in Purcellville Parade will start and finish at Blue Ridge Middle School, making a loop. The route is below:

• Blue Ridge Middle School 
• Right on A Street
• Right on 20^th Street
• Right on Main Street
• Right on Maple Avenue
• Right on A Street
• Right at Blue Ridge Middle School

Road Closures for the Parade

The roads listed below will be closed from 11:30 a.m. and remain closed until the parade concludes at approximately 1:30 p.m. Times are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unexpected circumstances.

• A Street from 20^th Street to Maple Avenue
• Maple Avenue from A Street to Main Street 
• Main Street from Maple Avenue to 20^th Street
• 20^th Street from Main Street to A Street

There will be some rolling road closures as the parade passes through; the primary concern is the safety of spectators and parade participants. The Purcellville Police Department places the highest priority on safety and it is law enforcement who will manage closures and re-opening of roadways based on safety.
