[ARCHIVED] News Release - Meet Local Organizations During Second Annual Non-Profit Expo

PURCELLVILLE, Va. August 11, 2022 - The Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is pleased to invite residents to the second annual Purcellville Non-Profit Expo on Saturday, August 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Bush Tabernacle at 250 South Nursery Ave, Purcellville, VA.


“The Purcellville Non-Profit Expo is a great chance for people to learn about a lot of different organizations in a short amount of time,” said Phil Rohrer, chair of the Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. “We are thrilled to have a wide variety of organizations participating, and hope that residents will take advantage of this unique opportunity.”

The following organizations are participating in the 2022 Purcellville Non-Profit Expo:

  • American Legion Post 293
  • BetterALife
  • Blue Ridge Eagles Aerie #4368
  • Blue Ridge Thunder Cloggers
  • Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties
  • Community Levee Association of Loudoun County
  • Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services
  • Loudoun County Master Gardeners’ Association
  • Loudoun Habitat for Humanity
  • Loudoun Hunger Relief, Inc.
  • Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy
  • Mobile Hope
  • Purcellville Historical Society
  • Purcellville Teen Center
  • Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company
  • Sara’s Acts of Kindness
  • Salvation Army Loudoun Corps
  • Station Stitchers
  • Tree of Life
  • Upper Loudoun Little League

During the expo, the Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB) will hold five random drawings for gift cards.  The first 100 attendees will receive a $5 voucher to purchase items from the skating rink concession stand.  Participating non-profit representatives will give short presentations about their organization, and there will be an energetic dance performance to entertain the crowd.  The Purcellville Non-Profit Exposition promises to be another high value opportunity for our community to learn why our Town is a great place to live, work and play!
