[ARCHIVED] News Release - Town Wide Paving October 4, 2021

PURCELLVILLE, Va.  October 1, 2021 — Beginning  October  4, 2021, the Town’s Contractor, Stuart M. Perry, will be conducting milling and paving operations on the following streets:  Aldershot Place, Strathmore Drive, and A Street from 20th to Blue Ridge Middle School. 

The work will generally occur Monday through Friday, between the hours of  9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.  During the work, the roadway will remain open with temporary lane closures during working hours. Parking along the affected streets will also be restricted during paving.  Total time to complete the milling and paving operations is anticipated to take approximately 3-4 days. In case of inclement weather or unforeseen events, this schedule may change.  

Please be aware of work zones and be alert for changes in vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns in areas where work is being performed.
