Purcellville, VA, June 4, 2021 — The Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is having a special meeting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9 to start planning a 2-day Purcellville festival that will be held this Fall. The meeting will be held at Town Hall (221 S. Nursery Ave). Local businesses; organizations; and others are welcome to attend. The goal of the Purcellville festival is to celebrate that Purcellville has re-opened and remains Purcellville Strong. The event would encourage people to walk around town to visit participating Purcellville businesses that are having special offers, promotions, or activities that weekend, and to enjoy live music at Dillon’s Woods.
