PURCELLVILLE, Va. February 4, 2021 —The Town of Purcellville is once again partnering with Keep Loudoun Beautiful for the annual Town-wide clean-up. This year, modifications have been made to comply with current guidelines related to COVID-19. The clean-up will be spread over a two-day period with two separate time slots each day. Groups may volunteer to pick up trash on Saturday, March 20 OR Sunday, March 21, from 9 a.m. to noon OR 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. either day. Groups will be limited to 10 per area, face masks must be worn, and participants who do not live together must maintain a 6-foot distance from others. Individuals and organizations interested in participating are encouraged to register online by March 15.
The Town of Purcellville invites all citizens, families, individuals, sports teams/organizations, scouts, church groups, and all other volunteers to participate in this beneficial effort which will focus on roadside and trail clean-up. Volunteers are encouraged to participate by helping maintain the mission of Keep Loudoun Beautiful:
- Maintain the natural beauty and visual quality of Loudoun County

- Promote public awareness of environmental challenges and suggested solutions, like reducing, reusing, and recycling
- Improve County trash disposal and eliminate illegal dumping
