[ARCHIVED] News Release - Reserve Your Space for the October 30 Movie Night in Dillon's Woods

PURCELLVILLE, Va., October 13, 2020 — The Purcellville Parks and Recreation Division is pleased to present the third and final of the series of outdoors movies shown in Dillon's Woods next to Fireman's Field. On Friday, October 30, the movie “Hotel Transylvania” will be featured (the rain date is October 31).  To add to the fun, there will be a costume contest for those coming to see the movie, and candy will be given to all registered groups.  Come dressed to win first, second, or third place in the costume contest! Winners will receive two $10 vouchers to be used at any of the businesses in town participating in the voucher program. The admission is free, but space is limited and reservations are required in advance. To reserve your space and to get more information, visit the Events and Activities page of the Town website.

Check-in will be between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The costume contest will be from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.  Please bring your own blanket or lawn chairs, as well as snacks. Concessions will be sold by the Bush Tabernacle.

Please be sure to have a face covering and maintain proper social distance. Face coverings must be worn when outside your reserved spot. Spaces will be designated in Dillon’s Woods to ensure that there is enough distance between attendees who have not quarantined together. If you are not feeling well, please stay home.

Special thanks to the Loudoun Valley Community Center for their support of these movies.
