[ARCHIVED] News Release - Join the Town of Purcellville to Celebrate the Class of 2020

PURCELLVILLE, Va. June 17, 2020 — The Town of Purcellville invites all residents and business owners to join us to celebrate the Class of 2020 by making some noise on Saturday, June 20 at noon and by sending in a short video with your wish for the graduates. More details are below.

Cheer on the Graduates

At noon on Saturday, June 20, go outside and make some noise for one minute to let all graduating seniors know that our whole Town is proud of their accomplishments. Bang some pots and pans, blow a horn, bang a drum, ring a bell, or just clap your hands and cheer for our graduating seniors.

Video Wish for Graduates

Share your wish for the graduating seniors. Send a 10- to 15-second video with a message to this year’s graduating class. Videos must be appropriate for all viewers. Videos will be compiled into one recording that will be shared on the Town’s Facebook page. Email your video by Wednesday, June 24, 2020 to events@purcellvilleva.gov.

Check the Town of Purcellville Facebook page for links to videos from both Loudoun Valley High School and Woodgrove High School.
