[ARCHIVED] News Release - Work in the Town's Right of Way

PURCELLVILLE, Va., April 17, 2020 — Beginning the week of April 13, 2020, Contractors for Lumos Networks, Inc. began installing fiber optic cables in various locations within the Town’s right-of-way in order to provide certain communications services to the Loudoun County Public Schools, and to other third parties. This work will be ongoing for approximately 2-3 months. Currently, the Contractor is working along A Street in the vicinity of the Blue Ridge Middle School. Work hours are limited to between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This work will require lane closures during these hours. Please be aware of work zones and be alert for changes in vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns in area where work is being performed.


In case of inclement weather or unforeseen events, this schedule may change.
