PURCELLVILLE, VA. May 7, 2019 - The Town of Purcellville will be performing maintenance and repairs to all asphalt portions of the parking areas at the Fireman’s Field and Bush Tabernacle property. This work is scheduled to be completed over a two day period. The Town and its contractor will make every effort to provide limited parking during these dates.
Wednesday, May 8th: The entire 20th Street side of the parking lot and the northern half of the Nursery Avenue side of the parking lot will receive a complete new seal coat of asphalt and new pavement markings. Parking for evening scheduled events will be limited to the portion of parking lot adjacent to Haske Field, on the brick pavers. Over flow parking will be available at the Loudoun Valley Community Center and along South 20th Street.
Thursday, May 9th: The remaining southern portion of the Nursery Avenue side of the parking lot will receive a new seal coat of asphalt and new pavement markings. Parking for the evening scheduled events will be limited to the north side of the lot on the Nursery Avenue side and the entire portion on the 20th Street side. Any overflow parking will be available at the Loudoun Valley Community Center.
All access to lots will be closed on Tuesday evening, May 7, after games, to prevent overnight parking. Barricades will be in place during this time. Lots will reopen Friday, May 10.
The schedule may be altered in the event of inclement weather.
