PURCELLVILLE, Va., February 14, 2019 —
FEBRUARY 20, 2019 TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING/PUBLIC HEARING POSTPONED:
The Town Council Special Meeting/Public Hearing for the Comprehensive Plan scheduled for Wednesday, February 20, 2019 has been postponed.
At the February 12, 2019 Town Council Meeting, Council voted to remand the draft Plan back to the Planning Commission in order to: (i) adopt a resolution that de-certifies the current draft of the Comprehensive Plan, thereby stopping all timing deadlines set forth under Virginia Code; (ii) update the changes recommended on the errata sheet, which include changes to the advertised Land Use map, and other changes as may be deemed advisable by the Planning Commission; (iii) to reference the Land Use Maps on the errata sheet impacted and contained in the Appendix to the Comprehensive Plan; and (iv) consider, address, and incorporate, as the Planning Commission deems advisable, comments to the draft Comprehensive Plan as may be delivered to the Planning Commission from members of Council. Updates will also be made to the "Plan Purcellville" website.
BOARD OF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW:
Due to a lack of a quorum, the Board of Architectural Review has canceled their regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, 2019 and scheduled a special meeting on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 7:30 PM at Town Hall, 221 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville. The agenda is attached.
