PURCELLVILLE, Va. JUNE 22, 2018 — The Town of Purcellville reminds residents that Town offices will be closed for the Independence Day holiday on Wednesday, July 4th. Town offices will reopen for business on Thursday, July 5th at 8:00 AM.
Trash and recycling pickup will be affected due to the Independence Day holiday and has been rescheduled from Wednesday, July 4 to Thursday, July 5. There will be no trash or recycling collection on Wednesday, July 4th.
During the closure of Town offices, emergency situations can be handled in one of the following ways:
- For life threating emergencies, call 911;
- To have a Purcellville Police Officer dispatched to you for non-emergency needs, please contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at 703-777-1021 and they will dispatch a Purcellville Police Officer to you;
- For maintenance emergencies, such as water main breaks, sewer backups, or emergency road repairs, please call the Maintenance On-Call number at 540-454-3629.
