PURCELLVILLE, Va. May 31, 2018 — The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded the Town of Purcellville its Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Award for the Town’s fiscal year 2017 financial report. This marks the 10th consecutive year the Town has received this prestigious award.
In addition, the Town’s Finance Department received the Award of Financial Reporting Achievements for preparation of the award winning Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for fiscal year ending June 30, 2017.
