[ARCHIVED] News Release - Christmas Parade Applications Now Available

PURCELLVILLE, Va. November 1, 2017 — Join one of Purcellville’s best traditions and one of Northern Virginia’s largest Christmas parades on December 9, 2017 for the 14th Annual Christmas in Purcellville Parade! Businesses, organizations, clubs, schools, individuals, and families are all invited to be a part of the parade. Create a float or decorate your car, truck, or yourself (walkers welcome) and be part of the fun. To participate in the Christmas in Purcellville Parade, download the application from the Events page of the Town of Purcellville website at www.PurcellvilleVa.gov. You may also contact Hibah Salah, Events Specialist for the Town of Purcellville at (540) 751-2390 or hsalah@purcellvilleva.gov. Applications are due December 1, 2017.

All of the Christmas in Purcellville Festivities take place right in the heart of historic downtown Purcellville. This parade is one of the largest events held in Purcellville. Combined with other festivities on December 9 along with the annual trolley tours hosted by the Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board on the evenings of Friday, December 8 and Sunday, December 10, you and your family can have a great holiday experience.
