[ARCHIVED] News Release - Public Meeting on Proposed Development

PURCELLVILLE, Va. February 13, 2017— The commercial real estate broker for the vacant property at the corner of N. Maple Ave. and Hirst Rd. is hosting a public meeting to discuss with residents a proposed development of the property. Please note this is not a Town-sponsored meeting. All members of the public are welcome.

Please plan to attend a public meeting scheduled for Monday, February 27, 2017, 7:00 PM, at the Carver Center, 200 E. Willie Palmer Way, Purcellville. The purpose of this meeting is to gather comments and input into a new project proposed on the Stupar property, located along N. Maple Avenue and Hirst Road. The contract purchaser of this 20-acre site, Buckeye Development, is proposing a senior living community comprised of active adult housing, continuing care, memory care, adult day care, medical care and potentially other like and complementary uses.
