Trash and Recycling


UPDATE - JANUARY 14, 2019 - Due to the winter weather conditions, the Town's curbside refuse and recycling collection services will be operating on a one day delay. American Disposal will collect trash and recycling on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Please have your items out Wednesday evening.


The Town of Purcellville provides residential (not business) curbside refuse, recycling, yard waste and special collection services each Wednesday for Town residents. The Town’s contractor for these services is American Disposal Services.

Please contact the Town Office at 540-338-7421 if you have collection issues or wish to schedule a special collection.

Please Note: ALL REFUSE, RECYCLING, YARD WASTE AND SPECIAL COLLECTION ITEMS MUST BE PLACED CURBSIDE NO LATER THAN 7:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY. THE FAILURE TO PLACE YOUR ITEMS CURBSIDE FOR COLLECTION BY 7:00 AM WEDNESDAY MAY RESULT IN NON-COLLECTION!

Residents of Loudoun County should contact the Waste Management Division for information concerning refuse and recycling in the county.
